Privacy Policy — Welcome Kit Pro iOS App

Welcome Kit Pro ("we", "us", "our") is a product of PropKitCo, operated by Byzantine Glam, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Welcome Kit Pro iOS application (the "App"), how we use it, and the choices you have. The web privacy policy covers welcomekitpro.com and the web app.

Information we collect

  • Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and authentication details. If you choose Sign in with Apple or Continue with Google, we receive the name and email address (or Apple's private relay address) that you allow those services to share. Accounts and sign-in are handled through our authentication provider, Supabase. Your session is stored securely in the iOS keychain on your device.
  • Property and content data. Information you enter to create a welcome book, such as your property address, WiFi details, door code, house rules, check-in notes, and the host phone number you choose to show guests. This content is used to generate your book and live guidebook.
  • Photos you choose. If you add photos of your rental, only the photos you pick are uploaded and stored with your book. The App does not browse or upload anything else from your photo library.
  • Local recommendations. Your property address is used to look up nearby places (restaurants, attractions, parks, essentials) through mapping providers such as Google Places, solely to build your book's local guide.
  • Purchases. Subscriptions bought in the App are processed by Apple; we receive the transaction details Apple provides (plan, dates, renewal and refund status) to unlock your subscription, but never your payment card. Subscriptions bought on our website are processed by Stripe.
  • App activity (Meta SDK). The App includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK so we can measure how well our app-install ads work. It sends Meta app events such as installs and app opens, completed sign-ups, starting a subscription checkout, and in-app purchases, together with device information and a device identifier. We never send your name, email address, phone number, property details, or guidebook content to Meta. The App does not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA), does not ask for permission to track you, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. Meta's use of this data is described in Meta's Privacy Policy.

What we don't collect

  • The App shows no advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not access your contacts, location, camera, or microphone.
  • Photo library access is used only to let you pick photos of your rental and to save your guidebook QR code to your photos.

How we use your information

  • To create, generate, and host your welcome books, live guidebooks, and QR codes.
  • To auto-fill local recommendations near your property address.
  • To manage your subscription.
  • To email you about your account: a welcome, a reminder before your free live guidebook pauses, and a thank-you when you subscribe. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
  • To measure the performance of our own advertising (Meta SDK, as described above).
  • To provide customer support and maintain, secure, and improve the App.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the service: Supabase (authentication, database, and file storage), Apple (in-app purchases and Sign in with Apple), Google (Continue with Google and mapping data), Stripe (payments made on our website), Meta (ad measurement, as described above), Anthropic (automated screening of the guidebook text and photos you add; door codes and WiFi passwords are never sent), Resend (account emails), and mapping and neighborhood data providers used to generate local recommendations.

Your guidebook content

Your live guidebook is published at a private link that you choose to share with your guests. Details such as your WiFi password appear only on that link and are not indexed by search engines.

Data retention and account deletion

We retain your account and content data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the App: Account tab → Delete account. Deletion removes your account, welcome books, live guidebooks, uploaded photos, and stored files, and revokes Sign in with Apple if you used it. An Apple subscription must be canceled separately in your Apple Account settings.

Children

The App is intended for hosts who are 18 or older and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
