Privacy Policy

Welcome Kit Pro ("we", "us", "our") is a product of PropKitCo, operated by Byzantine Glam, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use welcomekitpro.com and our web app (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and authentication details. Accounts and sign-in are handled through our authentication provider, Supabase.
  • Property and content data. Information you enter to create a welcome book, such as your property address, WiFi details, house rules, check-in notes, and your chosen local recommendations.
  • Payment information. Subscriptions bought on this website are processed by Stripe; subscriptions bought in our iOS app are processed by Apple. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Usage data (Google Analytics). We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website: pages visited, approximate location, browser and device type, and the events that lead to a sign-up or purchase. Google Analytics uses cookies. When you are signed in we may associate visits with an anonymous account ID, never your email address, and sign-in tokens are removed from page addresses before anything is sent to Google. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking cookies.
  • Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel). We use the Meta Pixel to measure the results of our ads on Facebook and Instagram and to show our ads to people who have visited. It records the pages you visit and actions such as signing up, starting a checkout, subscribing or sending a contact message, together with browser and device information and Meta cookies. We never send Meta your name, email address, phone number or welcome-book content, and the pixel does not run on sign-in or password pages. Meta's use of this data is described in Meta's Privacy Policy.

How we use your information

  • To create, generate, and host your welcome books, live guidebooks, and QR codes.
  • To auto-fill local recommendations near your property address using third-party neighborhood and mapping data sources.
  • To process payments and provide customer support.
  • To email you about your account: a welcome, a reminder before your free live guidebook pauses, and a thank-you when you subscribe. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
  • To maintain, secure, and improve the Service.

Your guidebook content

The live guidebook is published at a private link that you choose to share with your guests. Details such as your WiFi password appear only on that link and are not listed publicly or indexed by search engines. You can edit or unpublish a guidebook at any time from your account.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the Service, including Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (payments), Google (analytics, sign-in and mapping data), Meta (advertising measurement), Anthropic (automated screening of the guidebook text and photos you add; door codes and WiFi passwords are never sent), Resend (account emails), and mapping and neighborhood data providers used to generate local recommendations. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.

Data retention

We retain your account and content data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and associated data yourself at any time — on the web from Your Plan → Delete your account, or in the iOS app from Account → Delete account — or by contacting us. We delete or anonymize the data except where we must retain records to comply with legal obligations.

Your choices

  • You can review and update the information in your books at any time.
  • You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data.
  • You can unpublish or delete a live guidebook at any time.
  • Advertising choices. You can turn off ad personalization in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, or block cookies in your browser. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the Meta Pixel does not load at all.
  • California residents. Using the Meta Pixel for advertising counts as "sharing" personal information under California law. We do not sell your information. To opt out of sharing, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or email hello@propkitco.com.

Children

The Service is intended for hosts who are 18 or older and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
